Well today is the day that we have all been waiting for ladies – Pina Colada Day!

It is said that Pina Coladas originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the term ‘pina colada’ is actually Spanish for ‘strained pineapple’

We all know that instead of being in work we’d rather be on a beach sipping one of these bad boys, however its nearly the weekend and the sun is shining so we think that gives us the perfect reason to celebrate and rustle up some pina colada’s, for those of you that wish to join us why not have a go at making some with the following recipe:

Pina Colada Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 120ml Pineapple Juice
  • 60ml White Rum
  • 60ml Coconut Cream
  • Wedge of Pineapple to Garnish

 Method:

  1.  Put the Pineapple Juice, White Rum and Coconut Cream in a blender with a handful of ice.
  2. Pulse all the ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour into a tall glass and add the pineapple wedge to the top of the glass as a garnish.
  4. Enjoy!!
